Commemoration of International Women's Day.
The inequality that exists for women in industrial sectors in Mexico, is a real issue and of great importance since on many occasions their monetary income or economic offers are quantitatively lower than those of their male counterparts; For this reason, the constant fight for gender equality is a key issue for the development of our country.
Women are heads of state or government in 22 countries, and only 24.9 per cent of national parliamentarians are women.
When women are in charge, there are positive results. Several of the most efficient and exemplary responses to the Covid-19 pandemic have been led by women and women, especially young women, are those who organize diverse and inclusive movements online and on the street in favor of social justice and equality or the fight against climate change in all parts of the world.
For all these reasons, this year's International Women's Day is a cry in favor of the Equality Generation, in order to act to achieve an equal future for all.
